1. Study because you love God.
We love because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19
2. Study because God loves you.
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this; while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
3. Study because you want to grow.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever! Amen. 2 Peter 3:18
4. Study because you want to please the Father.
On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 2:4
5. Study because it is encouraging.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
6. Study because you will become equipped.
So that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:17
7. Study because the Bible is your sword.
