Do you sometimes feel like you have little to no time to read the Bible?

Has guilt or indifference prevented you from daily Bible engagement?

Do you desire to grow your faith but don’t know where to start?

I’m here to help!

I’m Karen of ezra710living, writer, and blogger of Bible-related products and Bible studies. I love studying the Bible and helping others find joy in the Scriptures. I draw from my experience as a Bible teacher and a Seminary graduate of Southern California Seminary.

I recognize the challenges of developing consistent daily time with the Lord. I have personally faced my lack of daily Bible time due to busyness, career, children, family illnesses, and just plain indifference.

So, join me in this 40 Day Bible Inspiration Journal and begin your journey.

How will this Bible Inspiration Journal benefit you?

  • You will learn to start small and gain big.
  • Slowly build reading and study endurance.
  • Discover the joy of Scripture.
  • Each day builds knowledge, insight, and a newfound love for God’s Word.

Method

The method to the 40 Day Bible Inspiration Journal is based on the principles of Ezra 7:10; For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the Lord and to practice it, and to teach His statues and ordinances to Israel.

These concepts develop biblical knowledge, practical Christian living tools, a desire to meet with God each day and understanding of Scripture.

Themes

Days 1-10: Read Who God Is – Learn His attributes and consider His ways.

Days 11-20: Read Relationship with God – Learn how Christians are to live and learn from God.

Days 21-30: Read from the Proverbs-wisdom literature – Learn biblical wisdom and understanding.

Days 31-40: Read from the Psalms-poetic – Learn lamenting passages to encourage and grow your faith.

How to use this journal

Study: Read the passage. Identify action, descriptive or contemplative words.

Practice: What did you discover? Is there an idea or belief to exercise?

Teach: Is there a command, instruction, knowledge, or behavior to change or apply?

My prayer for each person working through the Bible Inspiration Journal is to find growth through the excitement of reading the Scriptures, a more profound love for God, and a desire to prioritize and God’s Word every day.
